Company History
White Seal Roofing Company was established in 1964 and has operated continuously since that time in the same Hollywood location. White Seal holds both roofing contractor and building contractor licenses and is able to perform work most roofing contractors are not licensed to do including the newly required Hurricane Mitigation.
Robert Ethridge, President, has been in the construction field for over thirty years and is both a state certified roofing contractor and a state certified building contractor. He is past vice president of the Broward Roofing Contractors Association and sat on the board of the Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association. He has resided continuously in South Florida for the past forty years. He is past vice president of the Downtown Hollywood Kiwanis Club, member and past director at Lago Mar Country Club.
Vice President Ed Ethridge is in charge of all advertising, marketing and all Proactive Maintenance Programs. He attended The University of Florida and has spent extensive time in the communications and advertising field.
Jim Johnson is experienced in all phases of the operation and runs the office staff. He handles all bookkeeping, permitting and expediting of jobs. He is involved with the jobs from the time the contract is signed until the job and all inspections are complete.
All our professional roofing technicians have multiple years of experience in all phases of South Florida roofs. Each of them has his own White Seal Service vehicle and will show up on time in a clean, neat White Seal uniform to perform whatever type of roof work necessary. They are specially trained in customer relations and will always arrive with a smile.
